We are THRILLED to have two exceptional composers - Jennifer Jolley and JaRod Hall involved in the 2025 ComMission Possible Project! Once again, students will be placed at the center of the creative process. Students will be asked to explore their own creativity and curiosity, to ask questions, and to make decisions. Participating ensembles will receive the "Beyond The Notes Creativity Curriculum" that invites students to explore their own imaginations while considering a theme or concept that could be used by the composer for the new work. As in previous years, the project will create three opportunities for students to hear directly from the composer(s) regarding student suggestions, questions, and ideas about the composition. Schools will also have the opportunity to apply to host the composer for a one day residency AND to perform the world premiere at their school!
NEW This Year- the composers will write for different grade level ensembles. You will have the option to select one or both composers to work with. Jennifer Jolley will write a Grade 2.5-3 Concert Band Work. JaRod Hall will write a Grade 1.5-2 Concert Band Work. We would love to have you join us for a positively, life-changing experience!
