Are you ready to take your music education journey to the next level? The Rising Music Educator Program (RMEP) is your chance to grow, learn, and connect in ways that will inspire and transform your teaching career. Designed to combat the challenges young music educators face, RMEP invites up to 50 collegiate music education majors and early-career music educators (within their first five years of teaching) in the band area to join an exclusive day of growth and discovery at no cost to the participant. The event takes place on Friday, May 23, 2025 at the Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells.
Here’s what you’ll experience: 🎵 Observe Excellence in Action: Follow a middle school band from warm-up to clinic, gaining firsthand insight into effective, real-world teaching techniques. 🎵 Learn from the Best: Engage in meaningful discussions with master clinicians and ask the questions you’ve always wanted answered. 🎵 Be Inspired by Leaders: Attend talks from three award-winning veteran music educators who will share their wisdom and strategies for success. 🎵 Enjoy Two Free Meals, Swag Bag, and Resort Discounts: Participation includes lunch, dinner, a swag bag full of goodies as well as discounted waterpark passes, indoor theme park passes and/or resort accommodations. 🎵 A Special Presentation by Jason Fettig: Hear from the renowned former director of the "President's Own" United States Marine Band and current University of Michigan Director of Bands.
