Presenting the Rising Music Educator Program (RMEP)!
On Friday, May 23, 2025 the Rising Music Educators Program began with over 50 collegiate music education majors and early-career music educators (within their first five years of teaching) coming together to shadow master music educator's during the Beyond The Notes Music Festival.
Participants Experienced: 🎵 Observe Excellence in Action: Follow a middle school band from warm-up to clinic, gaining firsthand insight into effective, real-world teaching techniques. 🎵 Learn from the Best: Engage in meaningful discussions with master clinicians and ask the questions you’ve always wanted answered. 🎵 Be Inspired by Leaders: Attend talks from three award-winning veteran music educators who will share their wisdom and strategies for success. 🎵 Enjoy Two Free Meals, Swag Bag, and Resort Discounts: Participation includes lunch, dinner, a swag bag full of goodies as well as discounted waterpark passes, indoor theme park passes and/or resort accommodations. 🎵 A Special Presentation by Jason Fettig: Hear from the renowned former director of the "President's Own" United States Marine Band and current University of Michigan Director of Bands.

**Selected Applicants Must:
Complete a background check through Beyond The Notes.
Be in good standing with their school district, college or university
Have or will have a music education degree and licensure with an emphasis in band instruction
